We hold a rolling inventory of timed slots released by the palace administration. When you finish checkout you receive a confirmed entry for today or the date of your choice — no queueing at Ticket Center Hohenschwangau, no "sold out" letdown.
Rising from the highest peaks of the Sintra mountains, the National Palace of Pena is the finest expression of 19th-century Romanticism in Portugal. Its yellow-and-red silhouette against the dense green woodland of the Pena Park is one of the most recognizable images of the country.
Commissioned by King Ferdinand II in 1838 as a summer retreat for the royal family, the palace blends Neo-Gothic, Neo-Manueline, Neo-Islamic and Neo-Renaissance elements into a single, deeply personal composition — a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995 and one of the New Seven Wonders of Portugal.
Your visit combines the palace interior — preserved much as it was when the royal family departed in 1910 — with the surrounding 200-hectare Pena Park of exotic gardens, hidden fountains and panoramic viewpoints looking over the Atlantic coast.
All tickets include a specific entry time to the palace interior. Same-day slots are subject to availability at checkout.

Guided access to the palace interior with a fixed entry time, plus full-day access to the surrounding Pena Park.
